By: Malakai Coté, Ph.D.
This presentation aims to help practitioners explore Standards of Care in working with diverse transgender adults (e.g., binary, non-binary, agender individuals) seeking medical intervention and address key elements within ecological behavioral health assessment for gender diverse individuals. This training will assist practitioners in working with clients to go beyond “rehearsed narratives” to foster openness and collaboration in making referrals for gender confirmation surgeries.
