SVPA's Annual Conference

The SVPA Annual Conference was founded in 2016 and it has served as a way to bring together the Sacramento Valley psychological community and highlight local expertise and resources. It was traditionally held in the Fall in order to complement CPA's annual convention that was held in the Spring. Each year, we focus on highlighting regional experts with a diverse range of specializations. We aspire to bring learning and information to our members' different areas of practice and interests, while providing a space to build community. Each year we have had many local treatment centers and businesses sponsor the conference, creating lasting partnerships. In addition, our keynote address serves to highlight current, relevant, and important topics that we believe will both inspire and challenge us to grow.

SVPA's 2024 Conference will be held on Friday May 17, 2024 at the Hilton Arden-West Hotel. "GROWING PSYCHOLOGY: INNOVATION, ADVOCACY and COMMUNITY" is the conference title. Keeping with tradition, the conference will be held at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West Hotel, located at 2200 Harvard St, Sacramento, CA 95815.
